Credential Registry

Verify a credential

Enter the credential ID exactly as it appears on the holder's certificate, or search by the holder's name. A credential that does not appear in this registry is not a Veritas credential.

What the statuses mean. Active — the credential is in good standing and its renewal is current. Lapsed — the annual renewal date has passed; the credential is not in good standing until renewed. Suspended — the credential is on hold and not in good standing. Revoked — the credential has been withdrawn, including for an ethics-code violation, and is no longer valid.

A Veritas credential is a private professional credential issued by Veritas Notary LLC. It is not a notary commission, and it is not issued, approved, or required by the State of Texas. Notary commissions are granted solely by the Texas Secretary of State, and Texas law requires no training course to become a notary.
